Many users of the Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating network may have noticed a folder called $ Recycle. Bin. After deletion, the folder appears again and does not lend itself to even the newest antivirus software.
In fact, a folder called $ Recycle. Bin is a regular recycle bin where the user sends unnecessary files. In the Windows XP operating system, it is also present, but simply called the Recycler. The folder appears in the root system of all drives and contains the same information. It collects files deleted, but not cleaned from the disk.
As this folder is full, old files will be deleted, giving way to new ones, but this will only happen if the user does not have enough memory on the computer.
The $ Recycle. Bin folder is a system folder, so the user may not always see it. Most of the time, people change the file explorer settings to view hidden files (for example, on a flash drive) and then forget to go back.
If you don't want the $ Recycle. Bin folder to appear in File Explorer, do the following. Select "Organize" in the Explorer window, and then click on the "Folder and Search Options" button. There go to the "View" section, find the "Advanced options" item, and then the "Hidden files, folders and drives" section. Next, check the box next to "Do not show hidden files, folders and drives".
You cannot delete the $ Recycle. Bin folder, since it is exactly the place where the deleted files are placed. Moreover, the use of special programs and tools that allow you to delete this file can lead to a serious error in the system, so it is not recommended to use them.
