Novice PC users love to introduce all sorts of enhancements and enhancements to the desktop. Sometimes their experiments lead to undesirable consequences, which, due to their little experience, are difficult for them to cope with. One of these problems is deleting the trash can.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the Start button menu to restore the Trash to your computer. Select Run. A window will appear. In the command line, type gpedit.msc, then press Enter. The Group Policy Objects menu appears. Find the item "User Configuration" in it.
Step 2
From the subsections that appear, select "Administrative Templates" and then "Desktop". Look at the right side of the menu. There you will see the option "Remove Trash Icon from Desktop". assign it the value "Not set" to return the trash to the desktop, click the OK button. Reboot your computer.
Step 3
Go to the Start button menu if the previous method did not bring the expected results. Select Run. Type regedit into the command line and press Enter. In Registry Editor, expand the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Explorer / HideDesktopIcons / NewstartPanel. Find parameter {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}.
Step 4
Set it to zero to restore the recycle bin to your desktop. If you changed the default style of the Start menu, then you need to go to this address: HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Explorer / HideDesktopIcons / ClassicStartMenu. Find the DWORD parameter {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} and set it to zero.
Step 5
Restore the trash can by restoring the system settings. Go to the Start button menu, select All Programs, then Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore. This method is good if the checkpoint was created relatively recently. If you did not create a checkpoint, the system periodically did it itself. If the control point was created a long time ago, then you will have to re-change those system parameters that you have successfully adjusted for yourself over the past time. The cart will return, but other items and features that you managed to disable will also return.
