Unlimited internet has long been the norm. You pay for a specific period and don't think about the total traffic. When using wired internet, the best conditions are usually provided. If you use a USB modem, 3G speed is provided under certain conditions, most often, this is a certain amount of traffic, after which the speed is sharply limited. Downloading in torrent managers can occur simultaneously with the download of the file. You can save bandwidth by limiting your upload speed to a minimum.

Popular torrent media managers are µTorrent and BitTorrent. In both programs, the settings are changed in a similar way. This can be done in two ways: setting general settings and limiting for a specific file. Limiting the upload speed for all torrents through the general settings occurs in the torrent manager menu in the Settings tab, then select the Configuration item. Also, to open the window for changing the settings, you can use the key combination Ctrl + P. Find the line speed. The right side of the window contains several lines, select "General download speed limit" among them, then set the desired speed value in KB / s, the minimum indicator is 1.
Step 3
Limiting the upload speed for a specific file is made from the main window. Open the list of torrents, select the required file, right-click on it. The context menu will open, find the “Speed priority” tab in it. Another list will open, in it select "Limit kickbacks". Next, a menu will appear, in it by default there is a mark "Unlimited". Select the desired value. At first, the minimum speed setting will be 25 KB / s. If you want to set a lower speed, then first set this indicator, then repeat the steps, and lower values will be reflected in the speed settings menu. The minimum speed is also 1 KB / s.
