It is quite possible to update Kaspersky Anti-Virus from a local folder if there are two computers with the same version installed. In this case, one computer will be used to access the network and download anti-virus databases from the update servers, and the second will be used to update from the local folder of the first.

Instructions
Step 1
Configure one of the computers included in the local network to update from the Internet from the servers of Kaspersky Lab.
Step 2
Create a folder for update files / Documents and Settings / All Users / Application Data / Kaspersky Lab / AVP11 / Update distribution (for Windows XP) or / Program Files / Kaspersky Lab / AVP11 / Update distribution (for Windows Vista and Windows 7).
Step 3
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "My Computer" item to change the attributes of the created folder. By default, it is hidden and unavailable for viewing.
Step 4
Specify the item "Folder Options" and go to the "View" tab of the dialog box that opens.
Step 5
Apply a check mark to the "Show hidden files and folders" box in the "Advanced options" section.
Step 6
Open the main window of the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 application to configure the update copying to a local folder.
Step 7
Expand the "Settings" link in the upper right corner of the application window and select the "Update" section on the left side of the window.

Apply the checkbox to the "Copy updates to folder" field in the "Additional" section on the right side of the program window.

Click the "Browse" button and specify the path to the previously created update folder.

Press the OK button to confirm your choice and press the OK button again in the Settings window to apply the selected changes.

Start updating the anti-virus databases.

Open the main window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 to configure database updates from a local folder on a computer6 that does not have access to the Internet.

Expand the "Settings" link in the upper right corner of the application window and select the "Update" section on the left side of the window.

Click the "Settings" button in the "Update source" section on the right side of the program window.

Open the "Add" link on the "Source" tab in the "Update: settings" window and specify the folder to which the databases and application modules were relayed.

Click OK and uncheck the box "Kaspersky Lab update servers" on the "Source" tab.

Click the OK button in the Select Update Source window to confirm your choice and click OK again in the Settings window to apply the selected changes.

Start updating the anti-virus databases.
