Online communication tools are actively used both in personal life and for business negotiations. One of the most popular tools, along with others, is Skype. To start it, you just need to go through the registration process on the official website and install the program.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch your internet browser. Open the official Skype website, to do this, enter skype.com in the address bar and press the Enter key. Wait for the web page to load.
Step 2
Click on the "Registration" link located in the upper right corner of the main page of the site. Fill in the information in the appropriate fields. Those marked with an asterisk must be filled in without fail.

Enter your first name, last name. Next, enter your email address. In the next field, write it down again for verification. Start filling out the information in the Personal Data subsection. Enter your date of birth and gender if you wish. It is mandatory to indicate the country. The "City" field is also filled in at will. Next, select the language you want. Enter your mobile phone number if you prefer. It will not be public and will only be shown to contacts on your list. Then choose one of the suggested options for using the program - for private conversations or for business.
Step 4
After that, enter the desired username in the appropriate field. It will be your unique name in this program. Its length can be from 6 to 32 characters, and only Latin letters and numbers can be used. The login can start only with a Latin letter.
Step 5
In the next field, enter your desired password. Its length should be from 6 to 20 characters, and, again, only Latin letters and numbers can be used. In the next field, repeat the password.
Step 6
If you wish, check the box next to one of the items to receive information about new Skype products. Next, in the appropriate field, enter the characters that will be indicated in the picture above. If they are not understandable, you can update or listen to them using special buttons.
Step 7
Then read the Skype Terms of Service and the Skype Privacy Policy. If you agree with them, click the "Next" button at the bottom of the page. After that, you will be prompted to download the program to start using it.
