Proxy servers are used to hide the real IP address and remain unnoticed on the network. The Mozilla Firefox browser will tell you how to find out the proxy server. Download it from the developer's site and install it on your computer. Open your browser. Go sequentially to such menu items as Tools - Options - Advanced and click the "network" tab. And next to the inscription "Configure the settings for the connection of Firefox to the Internet" click the inscription "Configure". Next, you will see a number of menu items. If the “No proxy” checkbox is activated, then at the moment you are not using a proxy server when connecting to the Internet. If the “Manual proxy settings” tab is activated, then all the numbers and letters written below describe your proxy server.

If you are a member of a corporate network, then in order to find out the proxy settings, sequentially open the following menu items in the control panel: Network Neighborhood - display network connections - local area connection - properties - Internet protocol TPC / IP - properties. For ordinary users, the “Obtain an ip-address automatically” checkbox is activated. Usually, there will be numbers like 192.168.0. or some others. So, if there is an address like 10.0.0.40, then this designation will be the very proxy server that your company uses for its clients.
