As you use different network resources, a considerable number of logins and passwords accumulate, which are no longer used, but are still stored by the browser. All modern Internet browsers have built-in mechanisms to selectively remove unnecessary authorization data.
Instructions
Step 1
To selectively delete logins with passwords in the Opera browser, open the "Settings" section in the menu and select the "Delete personal data" item. In this way, the settings window for deleting personal information opens. A detailed list of settings you need to open by clicking on the inscription "Detailed settings". This list contains the "Manage passwords" button, clicking which opens a list of those websites to which the browser saved logins. The site names are clickable here - when clicked, the associated login lists are displayed. To delete unnecessary you, you need to click them and press the "Delete" button.
Step 2
In Internet Explorer, for a similar operation, you will need to go to the page with the authorization form of the site, the login to which you want to delete. Double-clicking in the login field opens the list of logins saved for this form. Use the navigation keys (up and down arrows) to move to the line with the username you no longer need, and then delete it by pressing the Delete key.
Step 3
Mozilla FireFox stores the option to selectively destroy logins in the settings window. To open it in the "Tools" section of the browser menu, select "Options". You need the "Protection" tab with the "Saved Passwords" button located in the "Passwords" group. By clicking it, a window opens with a list of logins and sites to which they correspond. Choose from the list what you no longer need and destroy by clicking the "Delete" button.
Step 4
If you are using Google Chrome, open the menu by clicking the wrench icon in the upper right corner and select the "Options" line. In the settings page that opens, click the "Personal Content" link located in its left panel and find the "Manage Saved Passwords" button on the settings sheet for personal materials. Pressing it opens another page - "Passwords". It contains a list of web resources and logins to them. Unnecessary ones can be deleted by clicking the cross at the right edge of the line of this login.
Step 5
In Apple Safari, click either the Edit section of the menu or the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the window. In both cases, in the drop-down list, select the "Settings" item. In the settings window, go to the "Autocomplete" tab and click the "Edit" button opposite the line "Usernames and passwords". This will open a window with a list of sites placed in it with logins assigned to them. Erase unnecessary ones by clicking the "Delete" button.
