If you need to delete the old username and password in your mailbox, first go to it by entering your personal data in the appropriate fields. If you are registered on the mail.ru service, then as soon as you go to your e-mail, in the upper part on the blue bar you will see a link “more” and several subsections, among which are “Settings”.
Click this link, then on the page that opens, click on the "Password" link. In the section that opens, delete the old password and enter the new one. As for the name, in order to delete the old login in the "Settings" section, go to the "Personal data" page. In the column "alias" delete the old name and write the new one.

The algorithm for deleting (changing) the password and name in mailboxes in other search engines (Yandex.ru, Rambler.ru, Google.com, etc.) is similar to the one described above.

Removing a username and password in other programs also has a similar algorithm of actions. For example, if you need to delete the old password and login in the ICQ program account, start the instant messenger program by entering your personal data. As soon as the program starts, go to the "ICQ" menu and select "change password". You will find the program menu at the top or at the bottom of the program window - it depends on its version and type. In the window that opens, following the instructions, enter your current password (which you want to delete) and a new password (twice). Before entering a new password, write it down on paper, slowly, carefully, without errors.
