There are several ways to print text as a book. To do this, you can use additional macros - special programs, or you can simply deepen your knowledge of working with Word.

Instructions

Step 1

We print the text in the form from Word, but using the functions of the printer. Go to the File menu, select Print. We go into the properties of the printer. Almost every laser printer has the function of printing on a sheet of several pages. We select the printing mode two pages per sheet. From left to right. Thus, when sending a document for printing, for example, the first two pages, only 1 sheet will be spent, the printer will print them sequentially: first 1, then 2.

Step 2

When the designated print mode is selected, it remains to create the correct print order. Here, too, you need to consider a couple of points. First, it is important that the number of pages in the document is a multiple of four. In another case, you need to decide which spreads you can leave blank and put page breaks in such places.

Step 3

Next, you need to enter the sequence of pages for both sides of the sheet and insert these numbers separated by commas. Now we press print. Lift the received printed pages and without changing their position, put them back in the printer tray. Attention: do not turn the sheets over, do not change their position. The next step is to set the second range of pages that are left and repeat the manipulations in the same way as with the first printed batch.

Step 4

You can use another option for printing text in the form of a book, in Word itself directly. But it should be noted that the driver performs this function more correctly, without distorting the fonts, as it happens if you set the settings in Word itself. And, nevertheless, let's designate this as an option. Find the File, go to Print, select the Number of pages per sheet - 2, set the page numbers 1 and 4. When the page is printed, turn it over, go back to the Number of pages per sheet, select 2, numbers 2, 3. Note that the optimal the number of pages for such a brochure is within 80, if more, it turns out to be thick, it is inconvenient to fasten it.

Step 5

For those with MS Office 2007 and newer, these tips are not useful. This is a slightly different system. But it is not at all complicated, like the previous one. Go to Page Layout, select Page Settings, go to Fields, then find the Multiple Pages column (it's somewhere in the middle of the highlighted page, on the left side), select the Brochure column.
