As a rule, most monitors do not display images correctly if the system parameters are incorrectly configured. To improve the monitor image, you need to go to the system parameters of the operating system.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - administrator rights.
Instructions
Step 1
Right-click on the workspace of the personal computer. In the context menu that appears, select the "Properties" tab. This menu is responsible for all the graphic parameters of the personal computer. To improve the image on your monitor, you need to find the most optimal resolution options. To do this, move the cursor to one side or the other in the "Screen Resolution" tab.
Step 2
Once everything is configured, click on the "Apply" button to save all the parameters. Also, do not forget that the screen resolution allows you to increase or decrease the size of the shortcuts on the computer desktop. Next, look at the Color Quality tab. You must have the Highest 32 Bits option set. If there is something else, replace it.
Step 3
Click on the "Advanced" button to bring up other operating system settings. Here you can view information about the video card installed in your computer. It is also worth noting that the image quality largely depends on the video card, as well as the drivers that are installed in the computer. Look on the Internet on the official website of the manufacturer for all the drivers that can be updated.
Step 4
Then click on the "Monitor" tab. Check the settings in the "Screen Refresh Rate" column. As a rule, the best option is to set this parameter to “60 Hz”. Once all the parameters are configured, restart the personal computer so that all settings in the system are completely saved. In general, we can say that it is not difficult to improve the image of the monitor, but there will not be much difference in this. If you want more realistic images, you need to buy a new monitor.
