Windows XP
Open the Start menu and select Settings.
Next, you need to open the "Control Panel", and in the panel - the item "System".
Now open the Hardware tab. Click the Device Manager button to open the hardware control program.
Step 2
Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008
Open the "Start" menu - "Control Panel".
Select the Hardware and Sound link.
Find the link "Device Manager" in the long list and run the program.
Step 3
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008
Device Manager can be opened from the command line on any of the above systems. Open the start menu. Find the Run box.
Use the "mmc devmgmt.msc" command. The "Device Manager" will open.
Use the command "mmc compmgmt.msc" - the "Computer Management" window will open. From the list on the left, select the Device Manager tab.
