Not a single office can do without a fax machine, because this means of transferring information perfectly helps out when there are interruptions to the Internet, and it is simply convenient for transferring various data. An office worker should be able to quickly and correctly load paper into a fax if it runs out unexpectedly.
Necessary
- - fax machine;
- - fax paper.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure the paper is actually out of paper and not jammed. To do this, look at the message display - it should have a corresponding inscription, for example, "paper off" or an error code, the decoding of which is indicated in the operating instructions.
Step 2
Open the fax cover by pressing the corresponding button on the side. It will open automatically. Inside, as a rule, there are instructions for changing paper in the form of drawings.
Step 3
So, opening the lid, take out the cardboard or plastic tubes that held the previous roll and unpack the new one using scissors. Often, the top of the fax paper is wrapped with a layer of wrapping paper, which is glued to prevent the roll from unrolling. But it also happens that the tip of the roll itself is coated with glue. In this case, cut about 15 centimeters with scissors after opening to prevent any glue from entering the fax machine. Always use special thermal fax paper that matches your fax specifications. You can find out which paper is right for your machine in its operating instructions.
Step 4
Unwind 15-20 centimeters and place the paper in the special recess for paper in place of the old roll so that the unwound tip extends beyond the machine and the roll lies on the unwound paper. Do not allow the paper to be too tight or too loose.
Step 5
Close the cover by pushing on both sides. When doing this, you should hear a click. Press the start button and wait a few seconds while the fax recognizes the new roll and displays a message indicating that it is ready to work. If this message does not appear, the paper is not loaded correctly. In this case, open the lid again and do all the manipulations again.
