The power of a computer depends to a large extent on the processing power of the processor (stone). When there is not enough of it, the most reasonable solution to the problem is to replace the processor. Sometimes it is necessary to pull out the stone for other reasons: for example, over time, thermal paste dries out on it and must be reapplied to ensure sufficient cooling of the CPU.

Instructions
Step 1
Loosen the screws on the computer base and open the side cover of the system unit. Provide free access to the cooler on the motherboard. To do this, temporarily disconnect excess cables, loops, etc. Then they can be inserted back into place. By freeing up space for yourself, you will greatly facilitate your work: removing the processor cooler will be much easier, especially if you are a novice user and have no experience in assembling computers. Remove the fan from the processor carefully, never use force. Otherwise, you can break fragile fasteners on the socket or cooler.
Step 2
Carefully remove the processor fan. To do this, first pull out the cooler power cable from the connector. The further procedure depends on the type of fan mounting, there may be several of them. If you have a cooler for Socket 775 (and this is the most common case), in most cases it is enough to gently, without using excessive force, pull simultaneously in opposite directions and slightly up the levers securing the cooler, and then carefully remove the heatsink from the mounts.
Step 3
Now all that remains is to remove the processor itself. To do this, pull the lever on the processor socket until it is at a 90 degree angle to the motherboard. Gently, without touching the contact pads, grasp the processor by the edges and pull it out.
