Personal computers are increasingly susceptible to infection with various malicious programs, before which users find themselves powerless. As a rule, you need to have special software to deal with them.
Instructions
Step 1
Install anti-virus software on your computer. Try not to use pirated copies, as they do not always update the virus signature databases, which leads to a complete infection of the personal computer. Also keep in mind that licensed programs cost money but are more effective. Choose the antivirus software of your choice. It is impossible to say for sure which programs are better and which ones are worse. Each program has its positive and negative sides.
Step 2
Next, run a full scan of your computer. Try to check not only local disks, but also the registry, as it often hides various malicious programs that load the processor, steal passwords, enter malicious sites, and much more. Once the scan is complete, be sure to remove all found threats and restart your computer. After rebooting, check again.
Step 3
To find a virus on your computer, you need to know about all running processes. As a rule, most viruses are registered in the startup of a personal computer, and are disguised as various programs. Press the key combination Ctrl + alt="Image" + Delete. The computer task manager will appear in front of you. Click on the "Processes" tab. Then click on the "Image name" button so that the entire list is sorted according to the list.
Step 4
Carefully review all the processes that you see in this window. Pay attention to those that are run as administrator. Check the data with the programs that are registered in the startup. As soon as you find major differences, try closing the process forcibly. However, it is worth remembering that deleting some processes can lead to numerous errors.
