Today in Russia more than 2/3 of all presentations are created in the Microsoft Office PowerPoint application. To show PowerPoint presentations, you will need a presenter, a computer, and a projector and a canvas or large screen. But we must not forget about the quality of the created presentation - it should be bright, stylish and bewitching attention.

Instructions

Step 1

What are the guidelines to follow when creating a PowerPoint presentation? First, don't overload your slides. Your presentation template should be minimalistic and lightweight. Use appropriate color schemes to match the theme of your presentation. In any case, never use too bright a background - red, blue, bright green.

Step 2

Secondly, the font must be large and readable. Use a font color that is clearly distinguishable from the background - black or white. Use as little text on your slides as possible, just keywords and highlights. You can read the rest of the information from the application or from memory. Don't put all the text on slides and read it like a lecture - it's boring. But diagrams and tables, also simplified, as well as figures and facts, are welcome.

Step 3

Third, use high quality original photos, best of all - non-public ones that no one has seen before. Photos should have a focus on which the viewer will stop. Images should be vivid and memorable.

Step 4

Fourth, use a minimum of effects. Animation should be simple, fast. You don't need to use long transitions, vintage dropouts, etc. All this distracts the viewer and makes viewing the presentation uncomfortable and nervous.

Step 5

Fifth, limit the number of slides and presentation time. The sheer number of slides will cause the audience to forget a large block of information. The most important and effective slides should be placed at the beginning and end of the presentation.

Step 6

Sixth, keep your presentation in your own hands. Look at the slides that are being designed as little as possible so that the audience does not get the feeling that you are poorly prepared. Control your voice, highlighting especially important points intonationally. It is advisable to keep the presentation control panel at home - give up the assistant, who may confuse the time for starting the next slide or “press the wrong button”. Keep your posture and generally keep yourself on stage confidently. For almost half of the presentation time, viewers will not be looking at the slides, but at your person.
