Each user, for sure, would like to protect their information from strangers. There are many different ways to do this. One of the easiest is not to save it to your hard drive. But it is not very convenient. Especially when you need constant access to this information. There is a way out that will be much more convenient, namely: allocate a separate section for data storage and make it invisible.

Step 1
The easiest way to make a hard disk partition invisible is as follows. Click Start. Go to the "Control Panel". In Control Panel, find the Administrative Tools tool. Start this component. In the window that appears, find the "Computer Management" parameter and double-click on it with the left mouse button.
Step 2
A window will appear, which will be divided into two parts. You are interested in the right part of the window, in which find the component "Storage Devices". Click on it with the left mouse button, after which the parameter "Disk Management" will appear. Open this parameter by also clicking on it with the mouse.
Step 3
After a few seconds, a window will pop up in which all partitions of the hard disk will be displayed. Click on the partition of the hard drive that you want to make invisible with the right mouse button. A context menu will appear. From this menu, select Change Drive Path or Drive Letter.
Step 4
In the next window that appears, click "Delete". You will be notified that some programs may stop working after you remove the drive letter. Click Yes. After that, another window will appear. In it, you must confirm the deletion of the letter, also clicking "Yes".
Step 5
After this procedure, the selected disk partition will no longer be displayed by the system. If you have followed all the steps, but the disk partition is still available, then you just need to restart your computer. After reboot, it will be invisible. You can make any partition invisible except the system partition, since the operating system is installed on it.
