Attempts to uninstall a Kaspersky Lab product using standard Windows tools (Control Panel - Add / Remove Programs) do not always end in success. It is recommended to use the specialized kavremover removal utility.

Instructions
Step 1
Download the free utility kavremover.zip from the official Kaspersky Lab website and unpack it.
Step 2
Double click on the file icon to launch the executable application kavremover.exe.
Step 3
Enter the security code shown in the picture in the appropriate field. If necessary, click on the button for generating a new code located to the right of the image.
Step 4
Select the Kaspersky Lab product to be removed from the "The following products are detected" menu and click the "Remove" button.
Step 5
Repeat this operation for each of the installed Kaspersky Lab products separately.
Step 6
Use the "Remove all known products" menu item if it is impossible to detect installed applications, but you are confident enough that some Kaspersky Lab products are present on the computer.
Step 7
Wait until the uninstallation process is complete and a dialog box appears indicating that the selected product was successfully uninstalled.
Step 8
Click OK to confirm the completion of the operation and restart your computer.
Step 9
Perform manual deletion of entries in the system registry (if necessary).
Step 10
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Run" item to invoke the command line tool.
Step 11
Enter regedit in the Open field and click OK to confirm the command.
Step 12
Enter the value of kaspersky in the "Open" field and press the Enter function key to confirm the search.
Step 13
Remove any registry entries that you find.
Step 14
Search for the remaining files through the standard search tool, specifying in the field "Where to search" - "My computer" and delete them (if necessary).
