On versions of Windows XP that have been localized, the Administrator account exists. It is built into the distribution kit of the system and if there are errors in the localization files, it becomes impossible to log into the system under the "Administrator". There are also known programs that do not work correctly with localized accounts, so after installing the system, you need to rename the accounts.

Step 1
To change the name of an account in Windows XP, you must log in under the "account" that must be changed, otherwise the shared files for this account will not be created. It is necessary to remember that you can change the name of the entry only if you have administrator rights, so do this in advance. Suppose that you most often log on to the system under a different name than "Administrator" and you need to rename this entry. Change the name "Administrator" to Admin or something else, but with the condition that the name will be in Latin.
Step 2
Now you need to log into the system under your own name and create a folder Admin or another (if you specified a different name in the previous step) in the folder with accounts C: Documents and Settings. Go to the "System" applet by pressing the Win + Pause Break key combination, in the window that opens, go to the "Advanced" tab.
Step 3
In the new window, click on the "Options" button. Select the "Administrator" account with the left mouse button and copy this profile to the C: Documents and SettingsAdmin folder. In this window, you can write the path to the desired folder or manually specify it by clicking the "Browse" button. If you cannot copy this account, try restarting your computer and repeat this operation.
Step 4
After pressing the copy button, you will see a dialog box with a warning about deleting the contents of an existing folder, click the "Yes" button, because this folder is still empty.
Step 5
Next, you need to open the registry editor regedit and find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionProfileList branch. In this branch, find the ProfileImagePath parameter, change the value of this parameter from "Administrator" to Admin. Now you can close the registry editor.
Step 6
Click the Start menu, click Run and type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2, then click OK. In the window that opens, go to the properties of the "Administrator" and change its name to Admin.
Step 7
It remains only to log out of your account, log in under the Admin account with the password of the former "Administrator". If everything went well, you can delete the "Administrator" folder.
