First, decide that the monitor itself will not be able to act as a TV. Devices such as a complete computer system unit and a TV tuner will help him do this. Step 2
Tuner connection. The internal type of device is mounted in the system unit and connected to the motherboard of your computer. If you are not strong in hardware, it is better to entrust the connection of the internal tuner to a specialist, having sent the computer to a technical center.

An external tuner does not require any knowledge from you to connect it. You just need to connect the device to the computer, power it up and connect it to the outputs of the sound card. When connecting to a sound card, designate the connected plug as line-in. You can set this parameter in the window that appears immediately after inserting the plug into the socket of the sound card. Follow the instructions to make the necessary settings.

It should be noted that you will not be able to watch TV channels on the monitor until you install the tuner drivers on your computer. This can be done using the disc that is included with the product. After installing the driver, you need to restart your computer.
