Don't panic if Windows won't boot as it can be restored. There are many programs with which operating system recovery is not a problem.
Necessary
Personal Computer; - disk for installing the operating system
Instructions
Step 1
You can restore Windows using System Restore. To do this, click the "Start" button, select the "All Programs" section. Next, go to the "Standard" section, in which find the "System" section, containing "System Restore". With this component, you return the operating system to the point at which it crashed. System Restore is convenient in that it allows you not to reinstall the operating system, since it copies, by default, the registry, system databases, local profiles to the Restore archive. For System Restore to work, free up 200 MB of free disk space on which all data will be stored.
Step 2
If, however, the operating system does not load, and System Restore is not available, press the key when Windows starts loading. After that, in the "Menu" select the item "Last Known Good Configuration" and press the key again.
Step 3
If necessary, change the interval for creating points at your discretion. System Restore provides for the automatic creation of restore points, at the moment when, for example, a new application is being installed, this means that some kind of event is implied.
Step 4
You can also restore the operating system using the "Recovery Console", the interface of which is the command line. Use this method if Windows cannot boot into Protected Mode.
