Both tube and liquid crystal monitors are installed on the table on special stands. They allow you to turn and tilt the device. In most cases, these stands are removable.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn off the power to the computer and monitor. Disconnect all cords from the monitor. If they are not removable, disconnect them from their respective connectors on the computer and extension cord.
Step 2
Place something soft, but not prone to electrification, on the table on which you are going to remove the stand from the monitor.
Step 3
Turn the tube monitor so that the stand is at the top. See exactly how it is attached to his body. Usually grooves are used for this. To remove the stand from the slots, depending on their configuration, slide it forward or backward, or turn it clockwise or counterclockwise. In some cases, tube monitors can be operated with or without a stand.
Step 4
Turn the LCD monitor back towards you. Make sure that no objects, even very soft objects, rest against the screen, because it is very easy to break it. Even a small crack can damage the entire indicator. If the screws that secure the stand are not visible, remove the small cover that covers them. When removing the screws, do not confuse them with those that secure the back of the monitor.
Step 5
When removing the monitor from the stand, be very careful not to drop it. You will not be able to put it on the table vertically until you put it back on the stand. Therefore, be sure to put it face up.
Step 6
After removing the stand, transport the monitor using styrofoam packing material. If the original foam container is not preserved, make a new one in such a way as to avoid crushing the screen, especially on LCD monitors. Despite the fact that such a container well protects the device from impacts, do not expose it to such impact, and even more so do not drop it.
Step 7
Do not attempt to ship the monitor in a package as it is likely to be broken. When transporting in the trunk, exclude sudden acceleration and braking, except in emergency situations.
