Step 1
Start by choosing a new display. In most cases, you can install the matrix model, the characteristics of which exceed the parameters of the old display. If you do not live in a metropolis, then the only right decision for you is to order a part on the Internet. Carry out this process by choosing a suitable online store. Make sure that the new die will work with your mobile computer beforehand. This information can be obtained from the laptop manufacturer's website.
Step 2
If you are not sure about the compatibility of the selected matrix with a laptop, then it is better to purchase an identical model. Pay particular attention to the display manufacturer. Identical models created by different companies can be endowed with different microcircuits. Be sure to make sure that this matrix uses the correct type of backlight (LED or CCFL).
Step 3
Chances are, you won't have to completely disassemble your mobile computer. Turn off your laptop and open it. Remove the rubber pads that prevent the matrix from colliding with the device body. Below them will be the screws that support the die frame. Unscrew them carefully. Sometimes additional mounting screws can be found in the lower corners of the frame. Don't forget to take them out.
Step 4
Remove the outer frame and carefully pull out the old die. Disconnect the cables from the system board from it. Do not pull them out of the case to avoid damaging these cables. Put the old matrix aside and connect the new display to the cables. This process will not take long. Usually two or three loops need to be connected.
Step 5
Install the frame and secure it with screws. Return the rubber pads to their seats. Turn on the mobile computer and test the functionality of the new display.
