Step 1
If you have already updated the BIOS and want to return the old version, then download the required firmware. To do this, it is better to use the official website of the manufacturer of the motherboard used. If you are working with a laptop, then visit the website of the developer of this mobile computer model.
Step 2
Download the flasher and the required software version from there. If you did not find the original BIOS version, then download a newer firmware that is minimally different from the initial one. Usually the sites indicate the release date of the firmware.

Please reset the BIOS before starting the software upgrade process. To do this, open this menu after restarting your computer. Select Use Default Settings or Reset CMOS and press Enter. Confirm the operations by pressing the Y key.

Take care of a reliable power source. If you are using a laptop, charge the battery and connect the mobile computer to an electrical outlet. When working with a stationary computer, it is better to use an uninterruptible power supply. If not, then flash the BIOS at night. This will reduce the likelihood of a power outage.
Step 5
After loading the operating system, run the flasher program. Its name depends on the model of the motherboard and the manufacturer. Select the required firmware file and click the Start button. Wait for the software update. The computer can be automatically rebooted during this process or after it is completed.

Open the BIOS menu and make sure you have all the required features. Configure the settings for your computer. Save changes and restart your PC.
