Audio extraction from a DVD disc is performed using special software for working with video. To do this, you need to install a suitable utility and configure it to extract the audio track from the specified file in the IFO format.
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install a utility to extract audio tracks from files on a DVD. To do this, download the program from the official website and install it using the received file. PgcDemux can be noted among the most simple and full-featured applications of this kind.
Step 2
After installing the program, put the movie disc into the computer drive. After that, click on the program shortcut that was created during installation. You will see a window, in the first line of which you will need to specify the path to the desired IFO file.
Step 3
Documents of this format are usually found in the VIDEO_TS directory of the disc. Click on the Browse button in the Input IFO line and specify the path to the IFO file on the media, you can find it among other videos in VOB format. In the Output Folder line, specify the folder to save the already processed data.
Step 4
In the Mode block, set the by PGC parameter. Then check the box next to Demux all audio streams, which is located in the Options block. If you want to separately extract more subtitle tracks, click Demux all subpic streams. To save the video stream, click Demux video stream and Create CellTimes.txt.
Step 5
Specify Titles in the Domain block. Make sure to include the full length of the movie in the drop-down list below. If this value is only for a few minutes, select another IFO that is on disk.
Step 6
Check the information you specified and then press the Process key. After completing the procedure, you will see a notification on the screen. Go to the required directory to check the converted data. The extracting audio track from the DVD is now complete.
