Text input from the keyboard can be carried out in several languages. By default, there are two of them: English (USA) and Russian, or Latin and Cyrillic. Language switching occurs at the user's command or automatically (if additional utilities are installed). Changing the font language is a snap.

Step 1

To change the font language, press alt="Image" and Shift or Ctrl and Shift. In this case, the icon on the taskbar will change its appearance. Depending on the settings and installed utilities, it can be in the form of an American or Russian flag, or in the form of the inscriptions RU and EN.

Step 2

Click on the language icon in the taskbar with the left mouse button, in the drop-down menu select the desired font language by clicking on the corresponding line with the left mouse button. This is another way to switch the font language. For more detailed settings, open the language panel.

Step 3

Step 5

To install the languages that will be displayed in the language bar, in the "Installed Services" section, use the "Add" or "Remove" buttons. When using the Add button, a new dialog box will open. Use the drop-down list to select an additional text input language, the value in the second field will change automatically. If it doesn't, set the keyboard layout or input method (IME) field yourself. Confirm your choice.

On the same Settings tab, click the Keyboard Settings button - in the window that opens, you can change the keyboard shortcut settings for text input languages. To do this, press the button "Change keyboard shortcuts", mark the required fields with a marker. Confirm the changes made with the OK button.
