Modern laser printers have a long working life. But, despite this remarkable fact, there comes a time when toner is pumped into the cartridge and needs to be refilled urgently. As a rule, this happens at the most inopportune moment, and there is no time to call the master. If you follow the instructions below, you can easily do it yourself.
Necessary
For this simple procedure, you will need a new toner, paintbrush or brush, and household gloves
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the cartridge from the printer. Most often, the cartridge consists of two halves, which are held together by latches or latches.
Step 2
Separate these halves and gently shake out the waste powder.
Step 3
Take a paintbrush or brush and remove any caked old toner from the cartridge hopper.
In order to do this properly, you will have to remove the photosensitive drum. You can easily identify it - it will be pink or blue.
Step 4
Then, preferably with a stiff brush, clean the gears from the remains of caked toner.
Step 5
Refill the cartridge with new toner.
Step 6
After you have cleaned and refilled the cartridge with new powder, reassemble it in the reverse order and insert it into the printer.
